Feature Friday: Rebekah Jeong

Get to know Rebekah Jeong, a talented singer who is a part of Chorale and University Singers.

What is your major? I am double majoring in Vocal Performance and Vocal Education

Where are you from? I am from Plano, Texas.

What are your hobbies/interests? My hobbies consist of reading books, taking long walks by myself, listening to music, and attempting to play sports that I’m actually really not good at.

What are three words that describe you? Positive, Dorky, and FIERCE LIKE A CHEETAH GIRL.

What is a talent that you possess? I think a talent I possess is making people laugh.

What is your biggest fear? Waking up to realize everyone in the whole world disappeared.

What achievement are you most proud of? I think I worked fairly hard last year as a freshman to catch up to where I needed to with all the other vocal majors because I was very behind in High School and didn’t know anything about music since I decided to pursue it very late. I’m proud for finally understanding music theory and feel like I rocked aural…(best feeling ever). Hard work paid off.

What are the perfect pizza toppings? Spinach, tomatoes, and avocados.

What is your life motto? Life is a gift, you’ll never get it until you open it.

What cheers you or relaxes you after a stressful day? A walk followed by a bath
