There’s No Place Like Home: Snapshots of SNU’s Production of The Wizard of Oz

Follow the yellow brick road to somewhere over the rainbow. For the past month and a half, the cast and symphonic members of SNU’s production of the Wizard of Oz, partnered with the Bethany Stage, have been rehearsing relentlessly. Show week, dress rehearsal was in full swing every night leading up to Friday, March 3rd. Their voices were tired and no doubt were they stressed about the upcoming performances. However, almost needless to say, cast members performed with flying colors on Friday, with a matinee performance at 10am and 7pm and finished with a couple of tra la la’s in their final performance Saturday night. Casted with people of all ages, the adaptation of the classical story was sure to warm your heart. As a member of the audience you were reminded that no where you are, where you’ve been, or where you’re going: “there’s no place like home.”
